Go-around - Transition to Instrument Flying

From SKYbrary Wiki

Two comments: (1) Apart from all the FSF advice here, I would suggest that the paramount key to initiating a successful manual go around is to pitch up promptly but smoothly to follow the ADI pitch command. For auto go around the whole experience is more about selecting then monitoring the automatics. (2) I would suggest that there is unlikely to be any evidence to support the assertion made in this article that 'many' operators use monitored approaches - if there is then I think it should be quoted. My own view and experience suggests that 'some' would be a better description than 'many'--Peter.Blackstone 22:49, 19 March 2008 (CET)
