McChord Field, formerly known as McChord Air Force Base, is a United States Air Force facility located in Pierce County, Washington, approximately 10 km southwest of Lakewood. McChord AFB was consolidated with United States Army Fort Lewis in February 2010 to become part of the Joint Base Lewis-McChord complex.
