Description

Grissom Air Reserve Base, formerly Grissom Air Force Base, is a United States Air Force installation, located approximately 19 km north of Kokomo, Indiana. The facility is a joint use civil airport/military base shared with the Grissom Aeroplex which provides general aviation and charter service.

Climatology

Humid continental climate (Köppen climate classification Dfa) - characterized by four seasons: cold, windy, snowy winters, mild springs, hot, humid summers, and crisp and relatively short autumns. Precipitation reaches its lowest in January and February and peaks in summer and latter half of spring.
