Description

Danbury Municipal Airport is a public use general aviation and designated reliever airport located 5 km southwest of the central business district of Danbury, in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Climatology

Humid “subtropical”/Continental climate (Köppen climate classification Cfa/Dfa) - characterized by hot, humid summers and cool/cold winters. Significant amounts of precipitation occur in all seasons in most areas. Winter rainfall (and snowfall) is associated with large storms that the westerlies steer from west to east. Most summer rainfall occurs during thunderstorms.
