Definition
In the context of aircraft maintenance, a sequence of routine preventative maintenance activity which is a part of the process of proactively achieving continued airworthiness. A Check may, dependent the amount of work involved, be completed in one out of service period or split into work packages which can be carried out over a shorter time periods.
