Edition 25 of this guide was published in August 2010 and includes the following notable changes from previous editions:

  • reclassification of 'snow pellets' to 'snow';
  • a few detailed HOT changes, mainly for Type1 (lower HOT for composite materials than for metallic structures.

Edition 7 of this guide was published in August 2010 and includes the following change to the previous edition:

  • Adding a training element under Annex D, 1.2. Theoretical element, to include de-icing using hot air.
