Description

This guidance material for the establishment and modification of Functional Airspace Blocks (FABs) has been developed by EUROCONTROL in accordance with Article 9a.8 of the amended Service Provision Regulation (SPR). The material is organised in two layers:

an upper layer FAB guidance check-list of regulatory provisions and related actions that FABs should consider or may consider in their projects; and
a more detailed body of explanatory material and guidelines that complement each item in the FAB check-list. Additional advisory material and web-resources that may be useful for implementation can be accessed from each article.

The FAB Guidance check-list can also be used as stand-alone advisory material.
